The G-hook has a closed G-shape and sits stably on racks, rails and sign rails. It suits trousers, belts, scarves and bags where the risk of items slipping off must be minimised. The S-hook is open at both ends. It is attached to the trouser strap and hung directly on the hanger rod. Both types are available in glossy and matt metal finishes and are used as a supplement to clip hangers and hangers with trouser bar.
The metal ring is used for hotel hangers with a pin. The hotel hanger has a fixed metal pin that locks the hanger in the stand. The metal ring is attached to the hook and is part of that mechanism. It is relevant for hotels and conference venues where hangers must not be lifted freely from the stand. For standard store and showroom use, the metal ring is not necessary.
