Shirt hangers

Professional shirt hangers for fashion retailers, showrooms and brand stores. Available in black lacquered, white lacquered, natural wood and rubberised finishes, including FSC-certified beech wood models. All models come with anti-slip rubber grooves and strap notches as standard, keeping shirts, t-shirts, tops and light garments securely in place regardless of fabric and footfall. The hangers create a consistent presentation across clothing rails and wall displays and can be supplied with printed or laser engraved company logo from 300 pieces.

Frequently asked questions about shirt hangers for stores and showrooms

Why do shirts and t-shirts slip off the hanger – and what can be done to fix it?

The problem most often occurs with smooth and lightweight materials such as silk, viscose, jersey and polyester. They have low friction against a varnished wooden surface, and even a slight shake can cause the garment to slip off. Most of our shirt hangers are therefore equipped with anti-slip rubber grooves on the shoulder area. This keeps even thin and smooth tops in place – even in a busy store with frequent customer traffic. The hangers also have notches for straps, so tops and dresses with spaghetti straps are held in position rather than sliding out towards the edge. If you have collections with particularly delicate or heavy materials, you can read more about the choice of surface and finish in our selection guide for finish and surface.

Can you mix shirt hangers and jacket hangers on the same rail without it looking messy?

Yes, but the decisive factor is not the type of hanger, it is the surface. If you mix a black lacquered shirt hanger with a black lacquered jacket hanger from the same series, it will look complete even if the width is different. On the other hand, if you mix black, white and natural wood crosswise, you will get a messy look, regardless of whether it is the same hanger type. The practical rule of thumb: keep the color and finish the same on the entire rail. For stores that work with several collections or brands on the same rack, our guide to hanger models a good starting point for setting up a uniform system.

Rubberized or lacquered shirt hanger – when is one better than the other?

In most cases, you can choose freely, because most of our shirt hangers have anti-slip rubber grooves on the shoulder area, which keep the clothes in place regardless of whether the surface is rubberized or lacquered. This means that the choice is primarily about aesthetics rather than function. The rubberized surface is matte and gives a subdued, discreet look on racks, which is popular with brands that want the clothes to speak, not the hanger. Lacquered hangers in glossy black or white create more contrast and an exclusive look. Matte lacquer is the middle ground – refined but not flashy. Natural wood signals quality and craftsmanship and is often used by premium and sustainability-oriented brands.
