Frequently asked questions about coat hangers for retail and showrooms

Do our coat hangers work for jackets, blazers and coats?

Yes. Our coat hangers are designed to support the full range from lightweight summer blazers to heavy winter coats and structured outerwear. The wide shoulder distributes weight correctly and preserves the garment's natural shoulder shape regardless of material and construction. All models feature a 360° swivel metal hook that makes it easy to work with garments on both front-facing and side rails. If you are unsure which model best suits your collection, feel free to contact us.

When should you choose a coat hanger with trouser bar instead of one without?

One coat hanger with trouser bar is the right choice when jacket and trousers need to be presented as a complete outfit on a single hanger. It is the standard solution in showrooms, shop-in-shop setups and stores that sell suits and coordinated sets. It also saves rail space since one complete look takes up half the room of two separate hangers. If jackets and trousers are presented individually with frequent stock rotation, a standard coat hanger combined with separate clip hangers is the more flexible solution. Read more in our guide to trouser bar or clip hanger.

Rubberized coat hanger - when does it make more sense than lacquered?

The rubber coating solves one specific problem: jackets with smooth linings slip. Even a heavy jacket can gradually slide off a lacquered hanger because silk or polyester lining has almost no friction against a smooth surface. The rubberized soft-touch finish keeps the jacket in place. Aesthetically, rubberized is always matte and suits brands that prefer a understated look on their rails. A lacquered hanger in gloss or matte finish is the better choice when visual expression is the priority and the garment is heavy enough to hold itself in position. Our colour and finish guide walks through all surface options with practical examples.

Can coat hangers be supplied with a company logo — and what is the minimum order?

Yes. All our wooden coat hangers can be supplied with printed or laser engraved logo. Through our stock hangers with logo service the minimum order is 300 pieces with delivery typically within 2 to 3 weeks. If you want full custom production with your own colours, finish and shape, we produce custom-made coat hangers directly at the factory from 500 pieces with delivery typically within 16 to 18 weeks.
