Logo blocks: what they are and how stores use them

A logo block is a block of solid wood, cut to a fixed format and lacquered or finished in the same surfaces as our hangers: natural wood, black lacquer and white lacquer. The logo goes on the front by pad printing in 1–2 colours or laser engraving. The block stands by itself and needs no screws, glue or holders.

The purpose is simple: to put the brand where the goods are, without signs that have to be hung up. See the whole range under logo blocks.

• Bielefeld, 200 × 80 × 40 mm: the compact block for narrow shelves and counters. From €17.50.
• Aachen, 210 × 70 × 70 mm: with a groove in the top for a sign or price card, so the block carries both the logo and changeable information. From €15.95.
• Leipzig, 200 × 125 × 45 mm: a taller format that is seen from a distance. From €19.95.

All prices per pc excl. VAT in natural wood; black and white lacquer cost a little more. Minimum 60 pcs, which can be spread across models and colours in steps of 10–20.

The logo block stands next to the hangers, so choose the same finish: natural wood for natural wood hangers, black lacquer for black hangers, white lacquer for white hangers. On natural wood a laser-engraved logo sits tone-on-tone; on black and white the logo is printed in your colour, typically white or gold on black and black on white. • One block per shelf at the front edge, where the customer reads the shelf from the left.
• On the table in the middle of the display, so the logo is seen from all sides as the customer walks round the table.
• At the till and in the window, where the block stands alone and carries the brand without products around it.
• On the trade-fair stand on the counter and by each collection group.

Keep the number down: one block wherever the brand changes, not on every shelf throughout the store. The logo block works because it is a pause in the row of goods.

The logo goes on the block by pad printing in 1–2 Pantone colours or laser engraving, with the same proofing process as on hangers: you receive a proof, approve it, and production starts. Minimum 60 pcs in total, delivery of blocks without logo in 1–3 working days, with logo typically approx. 3 weeks from approved proof.
