Hanger hooks and metal parts: black, white, matte or glossy, and what can be made special

The hook is the top, curved metal part that hangs the hanger on the rod. On our wooden hangers, it is 4 mm metal, powder coated and rotates 360 degrees so that the hanger can be turned without being removed. It should hold a coat without giving way, and it should look right with the color of the hanger, because that is the part the customer looks at when the rack is viewed from the side.

On clip hangers The clips are included with the metal parts. They are rubber-coated so they hold without leaving marks, and are available in the same colors as the hook.

• Same tone, calm expression: black hook on black hanger, white hook on white hanger. The hook disappears and the clothes stand alone.
• Contrast, more character: black hook on natural wood or white hanger. The hook becomes a detail that is seen.
• The stand determines: Black racks and dark furniture complement black metal parts. Chrome and brass racks complement white hooks or special items in the same metal.
• Keep one line: Choose one hook color throughout the store. Mixed hooks on the same rod look random, even when the hangers are the same.
• Logo: printed or engraved on the wood, not on the hook. The color of the hook should follow the color of the logo, so the hanger has two tones, not three.

If the hook needs a finish other than black or white, we make the hanger as a special production. Here, the metal parts are available in, for example, brass, antique brass, gold, gunmetal, gray lacquer, matte metal or shiny chrome, and the shape of the hook can be changed to fit racks with special dimensions. Many also choose the color of the hanger in Pantone, so that the hook, lacquer and logo speak the same language.

Minimum is 500 pcs. for coat hangers and 1,000 pcs. for other models, and the delivery time is approx. 16–18 weeks. You will receive proofs and samples before production begins. Read more about custom-made hangers.
