How to choose by garment type

  • Shirts, blouses and T-shirts: shirt hanger in wood. Smooth fabrics such as silk and viscose hang best on a rubberised Bedford.
  • Jackets, blazers and coats: coat hanger. For heavy coats and wool jackets most choose Halifax or Barry.
  • Trousers and skirts: clip hanger. Jeans and heavy fabrics are held best by York or Halifax with metal clips.
  • Suits and ready-made outfits: coat hanger with trouser bar, Carlton or Crosby, so jacket and trousers hang together.
  • Dresses and tops with straps: shirt hanger with a notch in the shoulder.
  • Belts, bags and accessories: G hook, S hook or Carpi clips on the rail.
  • Hotel rooms: Carlton hotel hanger with pin and metal ring, so the hanger stays in the wardrobe.
  • Many items in little space: metal hangers (Bari, Alba, Bolzano, Cesena) have a slim profile and give more hangers per metre of rail.

Wood, rubberised or metal

Wood is the standard in stores and showrooms. Our wooden hangers are solid wood: hard, dense and built for years of daily handling. The wood can be lacquered white or black, left as natural wood or supplied FSC-certified. Wood is also the surface best suited to a printed or laser-engraved logo.

Rubberised wood is the same hanger with a matt, rubber-coated surface. It gives extra grip so smooth, light fabrics do not slip off, and the dark matt finish looks calm on the rail.

Metal is the slim, low-cost choice. The hangers take up less space, so more fit on a metre of rail, and they withstand stacking and moving around the store. From 0,69 € per piece.
